The week of February 10 is Colorday Week. The theme this year is Vegas Nights.

Dress Up Days:

All candidates and representatives are required to dress up every day during Colorsday week.

DRESS UP DAYS
Monday: High Roller Monday – Dress to Impress
Ideas: suits, cocktail dresses, sequins, ties, bow ties, or anything with a touch of elegance.

Tuesday: Vegas Neon Tuesday
Ideas: Bright neon colors, flashy prints, glow sticks, LED accessories

Wednesday: Step into the Spotlight – Impersonator Day
Ideas: dress like your favorite SUPERSTAR!
Vegas Ex: Elvis, Michael Jackson, or Dolly Parton

Thursday: Speak Easy: Flappers and Gangsters
Ideas: Fringe dresses, pearl necklaces, gloves, feathers, zoot suits, fedoras, suspenders, pinstripes

Friday: Vegas Showstopper Day
Ideas: feather boas, sparkly outfits, sequins, glitter, showgirl headpieces, or magician-inspired looks.

ALL ATTIRE MUST ADHERE TO SCHOOL DRESS CODE

There will be a RALLY for candidates to give speeches/skits on Friday afternoon, February 14th.

Colorsday Game:
Mustangs vs. Alamo Navajo Cougars
Games begin at 1:00 pm, JV girls, JV boys, Varsity girls, Varsity boys

Candidates:
Arrive at the game by 3:00 pm dressed in Semi-Formal attire, unless you are a Basketball player.
Semi-formal:
Ladies - Nice dress (Sunday go to meeting or fancier)
Gentlemen - button down shirt & tie, nice pants (no holes) or trousers, clean nice shoes – example: dress shoes, boots, tennis shoes
Queen & Princess Candidates/Reps are required to wear a sash with your name on the front and grade/class on the back.
King & Prince Candidates/Reps should have a boutonniere for their shirt.
Flowers: Corsages & boutonnieres can be purchased through florists in Moriarty, Belen, Los Lunas, or Albuquerque.

Coronation:
Candidates will be announced and crowned during halftime of the Varsity basketball game.
